PROGRAMS

Get your little athletes ready for their sports and daily activities through running. They will build endurance, speed and strength to improve performance and reduce injury in athletics, as well as everyday activities. They would not know they are working hard because they would be having too much fun!

We strive to 

  1. Build whole athletes one child at a time.
  2. Give the child the chance to grow into their own athlete.
  3. Develop strong minds and bodies through trail running.

 

Run Club - Grades 3-8 (November to March)

Great for athletes who can already run a mile continuously and want to run longer. One day a week, we go for a longer run on the trails after a warm up, core and strength work. On the other day, we will work on speed and agility. The goal is to nurture the joy for trail running, improve our aerobic capacity and gain some speed along the way. Sign up monthly or for the whole season. Details subject to change.

Tuesdays and Thursdays
4:00pm - 5:15pm (November thru January)
4.30pm - 5:45pm (February)
5:00pm - 6:15pm (March)

Some Sundays
9:00am - 10:30am (optional long runs and races)

 

Summer Run Club (Fall Sports Conditioning, July to August)

Great for athletes going into 4th - 8th grade in 2025/2026 who are preparing for Fall sports, and ready to put in the work. Practices are based at the Shell Ridge Open Space near Indian Valley Elementary School.

The goal is to nurture the joy for the trails and running, build a strong base for fall sports, improve our aerobic capacity and gain some speed along the way.

Tuesday and Thursday
9:00am - 10:15am

Minimum of 6 participants to run, maximum of 16 participants.

 

St Mary CYO Cross Country (August to October)

Runs from August to October, a great way for children to get into cross country racing. Details HERE
